The most sustainable fabric
Jute is a long, soft, shiny vegetable fibre that can be spun into a durable threaded material. Jute has little need for fertilisers and pesticides and is known to actually enrich soil. Plants grow quickly and are often used in crop rotation, the discarded portion of the plant is left and this helps with soil fertility and micronutrients.
Flooded fields also help support fish populations and being reusable, sustainable and biodegradable makes jute the perfect solution for many eco-friendly textile products.
